[2018년도] 겐트대학교 글로벌캠퍼스(GUGC)는 과학 캠프는 국내 고등학교를 상대로 진행되고 있으며 한국 학생들에게 유럽의 선진 과학연구에 대한 경험과 세계적으로 명성을 얻고 있는 외국교수님들을 만날 기회를 제공하고 있습니다. 과학 캠프는 영어로 진행이 되며 모든 강의 및 실험은 GUGC교수와 연구조교가 진행합니다. GUGC 과학 캠프에 참여를 희망하는 고등학교에서는 아래의 가이드라인에 따라 신청해 주시기 바랍니다.

[2018] Ghent University Global Campus (GUGC) Science Camp offers a chance to Korean high school students to experience Europe’s advanced scientific research and meet world-renowned professors. The science camp is conducted in English and all lectures and experiments will be guided by a professor and teaching assistants. Schools who wish to participate in a GUGC Science Camp are referred to the guidelines below.

1. 과학캠프 신청방법 Application

참여를 원하는 고등학교는 “GUGC 과학 캠프 지원서”(첨부파일 참조)를 작성해 주시기 바랍니다. 지원서는 과학캠프 진행일 이전 최소 4주전에 이메일 (info@ghent.ac.kr) 로 제출해야 합니다.

Please fill out the “GUGC Science Camp Application Form” in the attached file and send it back to info@ghent.ac.kr. The registration form must be submitted at least 4 weeks prior to the earliest visiting date.

2. 유의점 Notes

캠프는 한 그룹에 최소 10명, 최대 40명의 학생들로 구성
한 그룹 이상의 과학캠프는 가능하고, 신청서에 그룹 수를 명시해 주세요.
대상은 고등학교 2,3 학년 재학생
과학고등학교 우대
강의와 실험부분은 100% 영어로 진행
참가비는 무료이며, 연구에 따라 재료비는 고등학교에서 제공

Each Science Camp will consist of minimum 10 and maximum 40 students.
In the case of a larger group, requests for multiple groups on the same date can be made. Please indicate this on the application form.
The camp is open to 2nd and 3rd-year high school students.
Students from science-oriented high school are preferred.
Lectures and experiments will be given 100% in English.
There is no participation fee, for some cases, materials fee may be charged.

4. 결과 발표 Result Notification

과학캠프 신청서를 GUGC 교수님들과 상의 후, 고등학교에서 요청한 방문 일자들 중 캠프가 가능한 방문 일자가 확정 되며, 일정 확정 후 프로그램 구성안 (A. 강의와 실험/B. 강의/C. 학교투어)이 결정 됩니다. 과학 캠프의 운영은 교수님들과 GUGC의 학사운영 상황에 따라 변동 될 수 있습니다. 자세한 프로그램 및 비용은 상호 협의 하여 결정 됩니다.

GUGC will decide on possible dates of the Science Camp along with an appropriate choice of program (lab session/lecture/tour only). Operation of the Science Camp may be adjusted depending on the professor’s educational affairs. Decisions on program details and expenses can be negotiated.
